The Salem Literary Festival 2011 (to be held September 23-25 in downtown Salem, MA) is only two weeks away!

Festival host and Salem author Brunonia Barry (THE MAP OF TRUE PLACES, THE LACE READER) kicks things off with a big welcome at the Festival’s Opening Night event on Friday, and then keeps things rolling with panels on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night, Brunonia hosts our Dinner with the Authors and invites you to dine with her on that night; see more on this event at SalemLitFest/Eventbrite.

We are very pleased and proud to introduce debut author Erin Morgenstern!! Erin’s first novel, THE NIGHT CIRCUS, will be published by Doubleday this September, and Erin will be joining us on Opening Night. THE NIGHT CIRCUS is already an international publishing sensation, with rights sold in twenty-two countries, and film rights sold to Summit Entertainment. It has received starred reviews in Publishers Weekly and Kirkus. THE NIGHT CIRCUS is a magical story of lovers forced to play out a dangerous game, full of fantasy, suspense, and unforgettable characters and set in a lush, wildly imaginative world – it will be THE talked-about book this Fall!

For even more fun, come meet special guest Joshilyn Jackson! Author of the acclaimed and popular BACKSEAT SAINTS and GODS IN ALABAMA, Joshilyn will be headlining at our Dinner with the Authors on Saturday night. Join us and dine and chat with Brunonia Barry, Jenna Blum, Robert Booth, Julia Glass, Megan Kelley Hall, Katherine Howe, Joshilyn Jackson, or Erin Morgenstern.

Tickets for these events, Festival admission buttons, and event registration available at SalemLitFest/Eventbrite.
